J&J Nursery and Garden Center in Layton, Utah, has evolved from its pioneer roots into a thriving family business. Originally started by the Stevenson family, who were avid farmers in the area, the nursery has grown significantly since its inception in the 1970s.
The business began with a surplus WWII army barrack used to sell produce and has expanded to include a wide range of gardening supplies and plants. Today, the nursery spans over 100 acres, with five acres dedicated to greenhouses and more than 100,000 trees. The Stevensons continue to focus on providing high-quality, locally grown plants to the community.
