AC Milan has officially announced the signing of French defender Sankhoun Diawara from ESTAC Troyes. Diawara, born in Paris in 2006, has signed a contract with AC Milan that extends until June 30, 2031, with an option for further extension. He began his
football journey in the youth academies of FC Solitaires Paris and CA Paris-Charenton before moving to Troyes' academy in 2020. Diawara made his first-team debut in November 2024 during the Coupe de France and played a significant role in Troyes' promotion to Ligue 1, contributing to their Ligue 2 title win. Known for his technical skills, physical strength, and personality, Diawara is considered one of the most promising young defenders in French football. He will wear the number 13 shirt for AC Milan.
