What's Happening?
Washington D.C. is hosting a series of LGBTQ+ events from July 31 to August 6, organized by Go Gay DC and other community groups. Events include a 'LGBTQ+ Community Happy Hour' at DIK Bar, a 'LGBTQ+ Community Brunch' at Freddie’s Beach Bar & Restaurant,
and 'Black Gay Flea: Summer Kickback' at Wunder Garten. These events aim to foster community connections and celebrate diversity. Additional activities include a 'Center Aging: Monday Coffee Klatch' on Zoom for older LGBTQ+ adults, and a 'Soul Centered' event at Thurst Lounge, which is a space for meeting kindred spirits and potential collaborators.
