On September 8, Madison County granted final approval for the Madison County Conference Center in Ridgeland, Mississippi, marking a significant milestone after more than two decades of planning. This 50,000-square-foot conference center, the first dedicated
facility of its kind in the county, will be capable of hosting up to 1,800 attendees for major conferences, corporate meetings, and regional events. It will be paired with a privately financed 250-room Dolce by Wyndham hotel at Prado Vista. The combined investment for the project totals approximately $120 million, with the conference center funded through an urban-renewal bond structure and the Dolce hotel privately financed by PraCon.
