The Katarina String Quartet, founded in 2022 at McGill University, has quickly gained recognition in the classical music world. Comprising Maya Enstad, Celia Morin, Jeanel Liang, and Jérôme Chiasson, the quartet has won prestigious awards, including the 2025
Fischoff Chamber Music Competition and the CAG Louis and Susan Meisel Prize. They have served as the Graduate Resident String Quartet at The Juilliard School and are currently the Quartet in Residence at the New England Conservatory. This summer, they are performing with Classical IPR's Sound Garden Project, showcasing their talent and dedication to chamber music.
