Airbnb has announced the appointment of Pepijn Rijvers as its new Chief Business Officer. This change was communicated by co-founder and CEO Brian Chesky in a company-wide email. In his new capacity, Rijvers will be responsible for overseeing Airbnb’s
Homes, Hotels, Enterprise Operations, and Global Markets divisions. Rijvers succeeds Dave Stephenson, who plans to leave the company at the end of 2026 after an eight-year tenure.
