Salomon, the French mountain sports brand, is set to release new colorways of its XT-Evo sneaker as part of its main collection, following its initial debut in a special capsule with Kith. The XT-Evo is an updated version of Salomon’s popular XT-6 model,
drawing inspiration from racing. The new silhouette features a reworked upper with sharper proportions, more layering, and flowing lines designed to create a dynamic sense of movement. The launch colorways will include a classic red, black, and gray palette, paying homage to one of the original XT-6 colorways. While retaining the signature jumbo mesh from the XT lineage, the XT-Evo also incorporates newly developed liquid rubber overlays for added texture. The shoe is equipped with Salomon’s “Agile Chassis System,” which provides stability, cushioning, durability, and control across varied terrain. The XT-Evo, priced at $190, will be globally available on Salomon.com starting September 2.
