The St. Louis Blues have announced the addition of Greg Cronin and Vaclav 'Vinny' Prospal as assistant coaches for the 2026-27 season. Greg Cronin, with a coaching career spanning nearly 40 years, brings extensive experience from roles in the NHL, AHL,
and NCAA. He has previously served as an assistant coach with the New York Islanders and the Toronto Maple Leafs, and as head coach of the Anaheim Ducks. Vinny Prospal, a former NHL player with a 16-year career, joins from the AHL's Rochester Americans, where he helped the team reach the postseason in each of his three seasons. The Blues also promoted Elliott Mondou to assistant to the general manager and signed Jeremy Coupal as assistant coach for video. These additions aim to enhance the team's strategic capabilities under Head Coach Jim Montgomery.
