Aman at Sea has announced the successful float out of its inaugural ocean-going yacht, Amangati, at the T. Mariotti shipyard in Genoa, Italy. This milestone marks the completion of the yacht's exterior
build and its transition from dry dock to sea. The Amangati, designed by SINOT Yacht Architecture & Design, is set to embark on its inaugural voyage from Palma de Mallorca to Nice on May 7, 2027. The yacht features 47 suites, the largest spa in luxury yachting, and four signature restaurants. Reservations for its Mediterranean and Caribbean voyages are now open.
Why It's Important?

This move by Aman at Sea could set a new standard for luxury yachting, potentially influencing other companies to enhance their offerings. The yacht's design and amenities cater to affluent travelers seeking exclusive and opulent experiences, which could boost tourism in the Mediterranean and Caribbean regions.
What's Next?
Following the float out, Amangati will undergo interior outfitting in Genoa before its sea trials and delivery. The yacht's inaugural Mediterranean season will commence in May 2027, with voyages ranging from five to eight nights. The industry will be watching closely to see how Amangati's launch impacts the luxury yachting market and whether it spurs similar innovations from competitors.
