What's Happening?
Aurora Fashion Week has commenced with a strong emphasis on community engagement and fundraising for local causes. The inaugural event took place at Children's Hospital Colorado, where young patients were treated to a private fashion show. This event featured
local designers, community leaders, and special guests, including the Denver Broncos mascot, Miles. The show was broadcast throughout the hospital, allowing children who could not attend in person to watch from their rooms. Organizer Nayada Moore highlighted the event's aim to create lasting memories for children facing serious illnesses. Approximately 30 individuals, including patients, nurses, and designers, participated in the runway show. The event was supported by sponsors such as Ferrari of Denver and Denver Exotic Rental Cars. Aurora Fashion Week will continue with various events across the city, many of which are free to attend.
Why It's Important?
