The Furman men's soccer team, ranked third nationally, is set to begin its 2026 season with a preseason match against the 16th-ranked High Point team. The game is scheduled for August 8 at Eugene Stone III Soccer Stadium, with free admission for attendees.
Under the leadership of first-year head coach Brandon Tucker, the team returns all 11 starters from the previous season, including standout players like Diego Hernandez, Braden Dunham, and Ivan Horvat. The Paladins had a successful 2025 season, achieving a 16-2-5 record and reaching the NCAA College Cup semifinals. Following the match against High Point, Furman will play an exhibition game at Wake Forest on August 15 and will start their regular season against Clemson on August 20.
