Nammo, a Norwegian ammunition and rocket producer, is advancing the development of a high-speed, extended-range air intercept missile using solid fuel ramjet (SFRJ) technology. This initiative aims to enhance the capabilities of the Kongsberg/RTX Norwegian Advanced
Surface-to-Air Missile System (NASAMS) and combat aircraft. The project builds on Nammo's existing propulsion technology, which is also used in the 3SM Tyrfing land attack and anti-ship supersonic cruise missile.
