Ecorobotix, a Switzerland-based agricultural technology company, has launched the ARA595 Ultra-High Precision Sprayer in the United States. This new machine is designed to assist farmers in reducing input costs and improving field efficiency, particularly
for those using 80-inch irrigation beds with side sprinkler systems. The ARA595, which will be manufactured in Lyons, Kansas, is expected to be available for shipment by the end of July. It utilizes Ecorobotix’s Plant-by-Plant AI technology to identify and treat only the necessary areas, potentially reducing input costs by up to 95%. The sprayer is equipped with pipe guides for smooth movement through fields with ground-level irrigation systems, making it suitable for operations in the southwestern U.S. With a working width of 19.7 feet and speeds up to 4.5 miles per hour, it can cover up to 10 acres per hour. The system supports over 30 crop algorithms and includes features like lettuce thinning and adjustable safety zones.
