4Moving Biotech has completed patient enrollment for its Phase 2a INFLAM MOTION study, which is evaluating a novel intra-articular GLP-1 receptor agonist, 4P004, for knee osteoarthritis. The study involves 129 patients across Europe, the United States,
and Canada, focusing on those with synovitis, an inflammatory condition linked to osteoarthritis progression. This trial is unique as it combines symptomatic improvement assessments with imaging biomarkers to evaluate synovial tissue thickening and inflammation. The study aims to determine if targeting synovitis can provide both symptomatic relief and slow disease progression. The primary endpoint is the reduction in knee pain at Week 4, with secondary endpoints including changes in synovial tissue thickness and overall synovitis burden.
