Lisa McGee, the acclaimed creator of 'Derry Girls,' is set to release a new six-part mockumentary comedy series titled 'Jig' on Netflix. The series is currently in pre-production with filming scheduled
to commence in Northern Ireland in January 2027. 'Jig' will follow the journey of best friends Cara and Fletcher from the underfunded Sweeney School of Dance in Derry as they compete against their well-resourced Florida rivals in the World Irish Dancing Championships.
