The Franklin Institute in Philadelphia is set to host the world premiere of 'Star Wars: The Experience,' an official exhibition celebrating the 50th anniversary of the iconic franchise. Opening on February 13, 2027, this exhibition will be the only official 'Star Wars'
event during the anniversary year. Developed in collaboration with Lucasfilm, Disney Consumer Products, and MDSX, the exhibition will cover 18,000 square feet and feature immersive galleries, interactive experiences, and over 70 artifacts from the Lucasfilm archives. Notable items include Darth Vader's costume, Darth Maul's lightsaber, and props from the Disney+ series 'Andor.' The exhibition aims to provide insights into the creation of the 'Star Wars' universe, highlighting costume design, visual effects, and the cultural impact of the franchise.
