Render Networks has previewed Quartermaster, an expansion of its agentic AI architecture, ClearWay. Quartermaster is designed to automate and optimize the transition from engineering designs to ready-to-build construction plans. This new tool interprets
engineering inputs from both structured and unstructured data, understanding them within the project's context, and then recommends how the work should be orchestrated, potentially across thousands of field-level tasks. Quartermaster operates directly within Render's existing data, workflows, and execution environment, replacing manual steps with a templated, defaults-first approach that customers can review and adjust. This development follows the introduction of the Field Quality Agent, another component of ClearWay, which validates field work against construction specifications. The initial release of Quartermaster will focus on middle-mile and long-haul transport fiber builds, which are crucial for hyperscale data center connectivity, accepting various design inputs including KMZ, DWG, SHP, GeoJSON, Esri geodatabase files, and PDF-based designs.
