Kemper Corporation has announced the appointment of Eric Kappler as Executive Vice President and President of its Property and Casualty (P&C) division, effective July 30. Kappler will lead Kemper's unified P&C organization, which includes specialty personal
and commercial vehicle lines and P&C claims operations. He will report to Stephen J. McAnena, Kemper's President and CEO. Kappler succeeds Matthew Hunton, who has left the company. With over two decades of experience in the insurance industry, Kappler previously served as President of Bristol West Insurance, where he led a multibillion-dollar business and achieved strong financial results.
