What's Happening?
The UFC has entered into a multi-year marketing agreement with Citi Developers, a UAE-based firm, designating it as the official luxury real estate partner across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). This partnership grants Citi Developers category
exclusivity in the luxury real estate sector throughout the EMEA region. The agreement includes branding placements at UFC events in North America, Latin America, Europe, and all Middle East cards, along with visibility across the promotion's digital channels and fan engagement campaigns. The collaboration aims to support UFC's growth strategy in the Middle East, a region that hosts multiple events annually and has a growing fan base. Citi Developers focuses on wellness-driven luxury properties, including AMRA, described as the world's first integrative wellness resort in Umm Al Quwain's Blue Carbon Zone.
Why It's Important?
This partnership is significant as it aligns with UFC's strategy to expand its presence in the Middle East, a key market for the organization. By collaborating with Citi Developers, UFC can leverage the firm's expertise in luxury real estate to enhance its brand visibility and fan engagement in the region. The deal reflects a shared commitment to high-performance athletics and premium lifestyle design, which could attract a broader audience interested in wellness and luxury experiences. This move could potentially increase UFC's market share and influence in the EMEA region, benefiting both the organization and its partners.
What's Next?
The partnership is set to kick off with an international marketing push targeting key markets in the EMEA region. UFC plans to return to the Middle East for its next regional event later this year, which will likely feature branding and promotional activities related to the new partnership. Both organizations are expected to develop joint storytelling campaigns centered on themes of ambition, recovery, and performance, further solidifying their collaboration and expanding their reach.
