Liberty Gold has completed a Feasibility Study for its Black Pine Oxide Gold Project located in Idaho, U.S., revealing an after-tax net present value (NPV) of US$2.4 billion, equivalent to $3.32 billion. The study projects a 60.5% internal rate of return
and a two-year payback period, based on a gold price of US$3,250 per ounce, with an initial capital investment of US$411.4 million. The Black Pine project is designed as a conventional open-pit, run-of-mine heap leach operation with an estimated mine life of 16 years. It is expected to produce an average of 176,700 ounces of payable gold annually, with production rising to 202,000 ounces per year during its first five years of operation. The project is supported by a probable mineral reserve of 433.3 million tonnes grading 0.29 grams per tonne gold, totaling 4.04 million ounces. Life-of-mine gold recovery is estimated at 70.2%, and all-in sustaining costs are forecast at US$1,566 per ounce.
