Cavotec has secured an order valued at USD$8.02 million to retrofit container vessels with shore power technology. This order involves equipping 24 low- and medium-voltage container ships with the technology, allowing them to connect to shore power while
docked. The retrofitting will be conducted while the vessels remain operational, with the project expected to be completed by 2026.
