What's Happening?
The city of Troy, Ohio, is hosting the 2026 Painted Piano Project, featuring eight upcycled pianos placed in the downtown Public Square. Artists from Miami County have volunteered to paint these pianos, each reflecting the theme of America's 250th anniversary.
This initiative, inspired by the 2008 UK art and music project 'Play Me I’m Yours,' has been a biennial event in Troy since 2021.
