Orlando International Airport (MCO) has been named the Overall Winner at the Routes Americas 2026 Awards, held in Rio de Janeiro. The airport also won in the Over 20 Million Passengers category. In 2025, MCO handled 57.7 million passengers, a 13% increase
from its pre-pandemic numbers in 2019. The airport has expanded its services with 45 new and expanded routes, including five new international destinations. MCO is the first airport in Florida to offer nonstop charter service to Tokyo Narita, enhancing its global connectivity.
