Freight Technologies, Inc. has introduced AI POD Validation, a new artificial intelligence module within its Fleet Rocket Transportation Management System (TMS). This module is designed to automatically read and verify proof-of-delivery (POD) documents,
flagging those that do not meet validation requirements. According to Javier Selgas, Chief Executive Officer of Freight Technologies, the system aims to resolve the repetitive, expensive, and error-prone task of manually reviewing PODs, which are essential logistics documents for closing out shipments and providing carriers with evidence for payment. The AI POD Validation module includes capabilities such as multi-model signature and stamp detection, structured optical character recognition (OCR), spatial document understanding to match various data points, bilingual stamp interpretation, and automatic document-quality checks.
