by the Ducks in the third round of the 2021 NHL Draft, made his NHL debut in the 2025-26 season. During his debut, he played six games and recorded a +1 rating. Hinds also participated in the 2026 Stanley Cup Playoffs, where he recorded his first career NHL point. Prior to joining the NHL, Hinds played in the AHL with the San Diego Gulls, where he set career highs in points, goals, and plus/minus. He was also recognized as the QMJHL’s Best Defensive Defenseman in the 2022-23 season.
