What's Happening?
The North Fork Audubon Society, in collaboration with the East End Arts & Humanities Council, is hosting the third annual Bird Song Project. This event, scheduled for July 18, will take place at Inlet Pond County Park in Greenport. The project features
a sculpture trail showcasing art inspired by birds, wildlife, and the natural world. The exhibition includes works from both established and emerging artists. The event is supported by a grant from the Suffolk County Department of Economic Development and Planning's cultural grant program. Attendees can expect opening remarks, live music, and refreshments provided by local businesses. The Bird Song Project aims to celebrate and promote the appreciation of nature through artistic expression.
Why It's Important?
The Bird Song Project highlights the intersection of art and environmental awareness, encouraging community engagement with nature.
