What's Happening?
Allseas has completed a significant renewal and upgrade program for its pipelay vessel, Solitaire, after 10 months of work in Rotterdam. The upgrades include modernization of the vessel's propulsion, power generation, automation, and hybrid power systems,
as well as enhancements to its double joint factory (DJF). These improvements aim to support a more automated and data-driven pipelay process, enhancing the vessel's reliability and operational performance. Following sea trials, Solitaire is set to return to commercial service in the Gulf of Mexico for a major ultra-deepwater pipeline project.

This extensive campaign underscores the vessel's enhanced capabilities and the strategic importance of maintaining a modern and efficient fleet to support global energy infrastructure projects.
