Skills SA has developed a multi-agent AI workflow to streamline the assessment of vocational education and training (VET) providers' compliance with student support standards. This system, primarily built on a Databricks stack, aims to automate the review
process of the Organisational Self Assessment (OSA), a comprehensive form that VET providers must complete annually. The AI workflow is designed to assist assessors by reducing the manual effort required to evaluate these submissions, which include both structured and unstructured data. The initiative was discussed by Jarrad Taylor, AI, data, and integration lead, at the Databricks Data + AI Summit in San Francisco. The AI system orchestrates the work of several agents to ensure consistent application of standards and to maintain an audit trail of decisions made during the assessment process.
