American Airlines, in collaboration with Citi and Mastercard, has announced updates to the Citi® / AAdvantage® Executive World Legend Mastercard®. The enhancements are designed to offer new and improved premium travel and lifestyle benefits for frequent
American Airlines travelers. The refreshed card now provides up to $2,300 in value, including Admirals Club® membership and a faster path to AAdvantage® status. The card continues to be the only one that includes unlimited visits to a network of premium lounges. New benefits include increased earning potential with 12X AAdvantage® miles on eligible hotel and car bookings, and up to $500 in statement credits on American Airlines Vacations® purchases. Additionally, cardholders can earn up to $180 in Lyft credits annually and enjoy elevated travel benefits such as Omni Hotels & Resorts Champion status and complimentary Avis President’s Club status.

What's Next?
The updated benefits of the Citi® / AAdvantage® Executive Mastercard® will be available for new cardmembers starting August 23, 2026. As the enhancements roll out, American Airlines plans to continue investing in its lounge network, with new and reimagined lounges planned in major airports across the U.S. This expansion is expected to further enhance the travel experience for cardholders. Additionally, the updated Admirals Club® membership rates will take effect on the same date, reflecting the airline's commitment to providing premium services.
