Blue Canyon Technologies (BCT), a small satellite manufacturer and mission services provider and part of RTX’s Raytheon business, has introduced its latest spacecraft subsystem called FleXbus. This new offering provides customers with a mission-ready,
flight-proven kit of spacecraft components designed to accelerate launch, build sovereign capability, and facilitate hands-on integration experience. The FleXbus is engineered to support any spacecraft structure without configuration constraints, offering flexibility for innovation. It includes an avionics computer, a Command & Data Handling system, Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) algorithms, sensors, and actuators. Additionally, it integrates an electrical power system controller, batteries, interfaces for payload and peripheral systems, and flight software. Optional components such as solar array drive assemblies, solar arrays, hinges, and select radio and propulsion solutions are also available, allowing customers to integrate BCT’s proven heritage into their own space vehicle designs.
