What's Happening?
A new sports entertainment center, Mammoth Clubhouse, is opening in east Wichita. The venue, which has been in development for four years, will open its doors at 9 a.m. on Friday. Located next to the former All Star Adventures, which closed in 2024, the clubhouse
features a golf and entertainment venue with automatic ball dispensers in an area called the Flight Deck. Sheila Atchison, the owner, expressed hopes that the venue will become a popular spot for Wichita families and friends. The facility is designed to cater to golfers of all skill levels, from beginners to avid players. The Mammoth Clubhouse will operate until 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and until 10 p.m. on other days.
Why It's Important?
The opening of Mammoth Clubhouse represents a significant addition to Wichita's entertainment landscape, particularly for golf enthusiasts. It fills the void left by the closure of All Star Adventures, a beloved local venue. The new facility is expected to attract both local residents and visitors, potentially boosting the local economy. By offering a space for both recreational and serious golfers, the venue caters to a wide audience, promoting sports and leisure activities in the community. This development also highlights a trend towards creating multi-functional entertainment spaces that combine sports with social activities.
