Isla Searcy, an individual medalist, propelled the Tennessee High Lady Vikings to victory at the District 1-AA Girls’ Golf Championships. The event took place at the Country Club at Bristol. Searcy achieved a score of four-over 75, securing her position
as the individual champion. Her teammate, Bella Branson, finished closely behind with a score of 76. Together, Searcy and Branson contributed to a combined team total of 151, which placed them eight shots ahead of the second-place team, Dobyns-Bennett. Brently Marsh led the Lady Indians with a score of 79, followed by freshman Kennedy Burton, who carded an 80. Science Hill secured third place with a team score of 165, with Cassidy Mullins shooting an 80 and Rebekah Bowman an 85. Kara Cretsinger of Daniel Boone, the Big Six champion, finished third individually with a 79.
