CS PowerTech Inc., a subsidiary of Canadian Solar Inc., has launched the first phase of its new PV cell manufacturing facility in Jeffersonville, Indiana. The facility is designed to produce heterojunction (HJT) bifacial N-type solar cells, marking a significant
step in reshoring advanced manufacturing to the U.S. The plant is expected to produce over 6 GWp annually and create more than 1,200 jobs, representing nearly $1 billion in local investment.
