HCA Healthcare has announced significant leadership changes within its organization. Dan Miller has been appointed as the new President of the East Florida Division, effective September 1. Miller previously served as President and CEO of Methodist Healthcare System
in San Antonio, Texas, a 50/50 partnership between Methodist Healthcare Ministries and HCA Healthcare. In his new role, Miller will oversee 14 hospitals, 12 freestanding emergency rooms, 65 urgent care clinics, and over 100 physician practices within the East Florida Division. Concurrently, Charles Gressle, who previously led the East Florida Division, will transition to President of HCA Healthcare’s newly formed Ambulatory Operations Group. This new group will encompass HCA Healthcare’s Physician Services Group, including Urgent Care and Physician Practice operations, as well as the Surgery Ventures Group and other corporate service line functions. The Ambulatory Operations Group will integrate over 2,700 facilities and clinics to enhance coordination for patients, physicians, and caregivers.
