Leapmotor has opened reservations for its new A05 electric vehicle (EV) compact car, allowing customers to secure a unit with a deposit of 99 yuan ($15). The A05 features lithium iron phosphate batteries with options for 39.8 kWh and 53 kWh capacities,
providing ranges of 405 km and 510 km, respectively. The vehicle is equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8295 chip, an 8.88-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 14.6-inch infotainment screen. LiDAR is available as an option, enabling advanced navigation-assisted driving.
