In the match against New Mexico State, the Lobos were trailing in four out of five matches on the back nine. However, they mounted a comeback, with Cepeda securing her second win of the event, Ausanee Udkamtiang halving her match after being two-down with three holes remaining, and Chelsea Truong winning three consecutive holes to clinch a 2&1 victory after being one-down with four holes left.
