The Crestview golf team has won the Division III sectional tournament at Valley View Golf Course, securing their second sectional championship in three seasons. The Cougars finished in a tie with Calvert at 323 strokes. The tiebreak was decided by Crestview's
Carter Blum's score of 95, which was two strokes better than Calvert's Weston Burns. Coach Rick Belcher highlighted the team's dedication to practice and focus on their short game as key factors in their success. Despite a challenging final hole for Carter Blum, the team managed to clinch the victory. Wynford's Clay Rogers earned co-medalist honors with a 2-under 70, including a 4-under 32 on the front nine. Wynford also secured the final team qualifying spot, narrowly beating Colonel Crawford by one stroke.
