The Venice Film Festival's immersive section has announced its 10th-anniversary lineup, showcasing 68 projects from 26 countries. This year's program includes works voiced by notable figures such as Margot Robbie, Andy Serkis, Omar Sy, and Mark Ruffalo.
A highlight of the lineup is a documentary on David Bowie titled 'Bowie: Unseen Unheard,' created from rare photographs by Bowie's official photographer, Denis O'Regan, marking the 10th anniversary of the musician's death. The Venice Immersive program will feature 30 projects in competition and 35 out of competition, running from September 2-12 on the island of Lazzaretto Vecchio. Among the competition entries, Andy Serkis directs 'Nevatars,' voiced by Daisy Ridley and Kathleen Turner, while Margot Robbie narrates 'Galapagos: The Last Eden,' directed by Anthony Geffen. Abderrahmane Sissako's 'Artou,' voiced and co-produced by Omar Sy, is also part of the competition.
