What's Happening?
CSG Defence and FNSS have signed a framework agreement at the Eurosatory 2026 defense exhibition in Paris to establish Danube Defence Systems. This joint venture aims to deliver medium armoured vehicle platforms, including the CFL-120 Karpat medium tank.
The agreement stipulates that CSG Defence will own 51% of the venture, while FNSS will hold 49%. CSG will lead marketing and manufacturing activities, utilizing its existing facilities in Trenčín, Slovakia. FNSS will provide technology transfer and platform licenses for local production. The venture will offer a range of vehicles, including armoured personnel carriers and infantry fighting vehicles, as well as FNSS's full weapon system portfolio.
