Minor Hotels is set to launch the Avani Cypress Lakes Resort in Australia, a new premium lifestyle and wellness resort in New South Wales’ Hunter Valley. The development, which will unfold in phases starting October 2026, will integrate the existing Oaks
Cypress Lakes Resort and the Elysia Wellness Retreat across 340 acres, creating what is projected to be Australia’s largest integrated resort wellness precinct. The Avani Cypress Lakes Resort will be the largest Avani property in Australasia, featuring 204 rooms and suites, an 18-hole golf course, the AvaniWell spa and wellness center, 24 meeting and event spaces, two concept-led restaurants, a pool bar, and all-day dining. The transformation will also introduce three pickleball courts, an outdoor cinema, and new dining concepts like Chakraya, inspired by Sri Lankan flavors.
