Louisa Livingstone, known for her appearance on the 1970 debut album cover of Black Sabbath, has released a new rock opera titled 'Alice'. Operating under the moniker Indreba (The Incredible Dream Band), Livingstone's latest EP is inspired by Lewis Carroll's
'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland' and 'Through the Looking-Glass', and explores themes of artificial intelligence. The project conceptualizes a character falling in love with an AI chatbot, ultimately realizing it's an illusion, prompting a return to self and nature. The opening track, 'Feed Your Head,' includes lyrics that reference digital scrolling and staring at a 'digital wall.' While some of Indreba's previous works were electronic, 'Alice' leans towards a 1960s psychedelic rock sound. Livingstone began recording music on her computer over a decade ago after discovering Dream Theater keyboardist Jordan Rudess' Wizdom Music apps and has also experimented with AI for her vocals.
