They are rich in anthocyanins, which have anti-inflammatory properties. Almonds, with 6 grams of protein and 4 grams of fiber per ounce, are also highlighted for their heart-protective vitamin E content. These foods are recommended for their ability to lower cholesterol and support overall heart health.
