The Bellarmine Knights men's golf team has won its second team title of the season at the Joe Feaganes Invitational, hosted by Marshall University. The tournament, held at Guyan Golf and Country Club in Huntington, W.V., featured 14 teams and 92 players.
Bellarmine finished with a score of -13 (839), narrowly beating Purdue Fort Wayne by one shot. This victory marks the team's second win of the year, following their success at the Chaney-Denham-Landrum Shootout two weeks prior. These are the first two team wins for Bellarmine in the Division I era. Redshirt junior Ben Wulkopf led the Knights, finishing tied for second individually at -8 with rounds of 67-69-69. His opening round 67 was a new collegiate career-low, and his T2 finish is his best as a Knight. Ben Davenport also contributed significantly, finishing tied for fourth at -6 with back-to-back rounds of 68, including a bogey-free final round. Both Wulkopf and Davenport shared the fewest bogeys in the field, each carding four.
