Tekever has unveiled its new AR6 rotary wing uncrewed aircraft system (UAS) at the Farnborough Airshow, marking its entry into the autonomous heavy-lift multicopter market. The AR6 is designed to deliver significant range and payload improvements over
existing electric VTOL systems, utilizing a combustion engine and digitally controlled hydraulics developed by Flowcopter. The AR6 can carry payloads of up to 200 kg over distances of approximately 500 km. Tekever's approach addresses the limitations of electric-powered systems, which require heavier batteries and complex materials as they scale up. The AR6 is part of Tekever's strategy to offer solutions for logistics, medical support, and humanitarian relief, as well as military applications.
