Noah Properties is developing 'The Riverbank,' a 10-building residential project in Niles, Illinois, at the former site of the White Eagle Events and Convention Center. The project, which began construction six months ago, is expected to be completed
by December 2027. The $156 million development will feature 354 luxury units, including studios, one-, two-, and four-bedroom homes, along with a new park, public plaza, pool, playground, and parking facilities. The White Eagle, a significant cultural landmark for Chicago's Polish community, was demolished at a cost of $250,000 after closing at the end of 2025. Bart Przyjemski, a native of Poland and former Niles resident who leads Noah Properties, purchased the 7-acre site in December 2025 for $5.7 million. Village officials anticipate that The Riverbank will revitalize the area, attracting young professionals and families to Niles.
