What's Happening?
The Embroiderers’ Guild of America (EGA) has announced its schedule of national and regional needlework events for 2027. Key events include WinterStitch 2027, a virtual event with registration opening on September 22, 2026, and featuring five virtual classes
and a general kick-off session on January 30, 2027. Regional events are also planned across the U.S., such as the Carolinas Region Spring Retreat in Rock Hill, South Carolina, from April 23-25, 2027, with registration opening in early January. Other regional seminars include the Heartland Region's 'Stitching Among the Prairie Roses' in Cedar Falls, Iowa, the New England Region's 'Needles & Blooms' in South Burlington, Vermont, and the Rocky Mountain Region's 'Gem of a Weekend' in Boise, Idaho. The Tennessee Valley Region will host a 'Stitching Bee' in Kingsport, TN, and the Mid-Atlantic Region will have 'Stitchers’ Great Escape' in Fairfax, Virginia. The South Central Region will hold 'We Come in Pieces' in Pflugerville, TX, and the Sun Region will celebrate its 50th Anniversary with a 'Stitch A Waves Cruise'.
