What's Happening?
The Fly By 5K is set to take place at the Patrick Leahy Burlington International Airport in South Burlington, Vermont, on October 3. This unique event allows participants to run on the airport's runway, offering a flat and fast course with scenic views.
The event is free to participate in, but registration is required and limited to 500 runners. Participants will receive a Fly By 5K beanie. Each donation earns a raffle ticket, increasing chances to win prizes. After the race, participants can enjoy a complimentary wellness experience with access to a mobile sauna and cold plunge recovery, provided by Northern Kin Sauna. The event concludes with a post-race block party featuring entertainment, food trucks, and family activities.
