MAPLE LEAF PRO (MLP) has announced the return of the Can-Am Dojo, a historic professional wrestling training ground, under the new name MLP Academy. The academy is set to reopen in October 2026 in a new 4,000-square-foot
facility located in Windsor, Ontario. Josh Alexander, a current AEW Superstar, will serve as the Head Coach, bringing his extensive in-ring experience to the program. Scott D’Amore, former TNA President and current MLP President, will take on the role of MLP Academy General Manager. The academy plans to offer a comprehensive training curriculum, including beginner and advanced courses, along with specialized seminars led by prominent figures in the wrestling industry. These sessions will cover various aspects of a professional wrestling career, such as in-ring techniques, promo skills, character development, and professional conduct.
