What's Happening?
TGS has commenced Phase 2 of its Orphan3D pre-stack depth migration (PSDM) reprocessing project offshore Newfoundland and Labrador. This phase involves upgrading approximately 13,300 km² of 3D seismic data to enhance exploration in the North Atlantic's
Orphan Basin. The project utilizes TGS' latest depth imaging technologies, including Full Waveform Inversion (FWI) and proprietary imaging workflows, to improve subsurface imaging and reservoir characterization.
