Shah brings extensive government experience, having previously served as Senior Counsel to the Attorney General of Texas, Chief of Staff and Chief Counsel to U.S. Senator Ted Cruz, and Acting U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Texas. Before joining Kirkland, Shah founded and co-chaired the State Attorneys General Practice Group at Gibson Dunn.
